A CampK12 customer was unhappy, but the complaint did not add up. Her Spanish phrasing pointed at the real need, a bilingual instructor for her child, not a refund. I matched one and kept the subscription.
About Soumik
Why it is called cosmik.work.
With the right guardrails, almost every business process can now run as an AI workflow. Lead research, onboarding, reporting, follow ups, the weekly status update nobody enjoys writing. When nearly all of the repeat work in a company can be rebuilt that way, the scale of the change is cosmic.
That is the idea behind the name. I am Soumik Chatterjee, and for 9+ years I have taken work that people repeat by hand and turned it into systems that keep running. Today I do it with AI, and cosmik.work is where that work lives.
The spelling is a small play on my own name. Soumik ends in "mik", so cosmik shares that word with me.
The origin
Proof has always mattered more than claims.
My paper trail starts in 1996, when I was six, and it has no gaps. Every certificate, mark sheet and piece of written feedback is kept and scanned, because a record you can check beats a story you have to trust.

The brief behind the job title
A client asked for a Senior Data Scientist on a budget that matched no such hire. I asked more questions. The real need was Tableau, Power BI and SQL. I reshaped the brief and filled the role.

Since 2016 I have mentored 500+ college students through computer science and AI coursework, projects and placement prep. I read constantly, mostly business, psychology and how things work, and I have used Linux since 2010.
